About Me

Computer Science and AI student with a strong execution bias.

I’m Tymofii Kalnytskyi, a B.S. Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence student at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, with a 3.9 GPA, Dean’s List recognition, and a portfolio centered on applied AI, software engineering, and polished product delivery.

How I think

I like engineering problems that reward precision. That often means designing interfaces and APIs with care, keeping systems modular, and making sure the final product feels as coherent as the underlying architecture.

My coursework in data structures, operating systems, database management, statistics, and multivariable mathematics shaped a problem-solving style that is both analytical and practical.

What I’m targeting

  • AI Engineer internships where LLMs, ML workflows, and full-stack execution intersect
  • Software Engineer internships with room for product ownership and technical depth
  • Teams that value communication, coachability, and fast iteration
  • Work that rewards clarity, correctness, and consistent engineering craftsmanship
Strength Areas

Signals that define my portfolio direction.

AI and ML Tooling

Hands-on experience with LLMs, Ollama, NLP-oriented workflows, Scikit-learn, and ML-backed application features.

Teaching and Mentorship

Experience teaching AI and front-end topics, building debugging guides, and helping learners become more independent.

Full-Stack Delivery

Comfortable combining React or Next.js front ends with Python or Node-backed logic, API design, and polished UI systems.
